ELECTRICAL STUDIES

I.C. & E.E. has performed a number of different electrical studies for clients.

One of our clients requested that we evaluate a property's electrical system before they purchased it. We evaluated the existing electrical distribution system by analyzing test reports, electrical usage, as well as the capacity and age of the existing equipment. Recommendations were made on the life span, future capacity and cost to upgrade.

Another set of electrical studies we perform are short circuit, coordination and arc flash. These studies provide the owner with the available short circuit current at the locations throughout the electrical system as well as coordination of the circuit protecive devices to make sure that the effects of a fault on the system are limited. The arc flash provides the incident energy available and personal protective equipment needed when maintenance may be performed on the energized circuits.

Another client requested that we develop a schedule of electrical equipment and cable testing for their use in a preventive maintenance program.
