Last Friday, a group from Elevation joined clients, community leaders, elected officials, and industry partners at Splendora ISD's 8th Annual Golf Tournament: Swing for Scholarships, Putt for Programs, Change a Classroom.

The tournament helps create opportunities for students and educators throughout the district, making it a cause worth rallying behind. Beyond a great day on the course, the tournament provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and support a meaningful cause alongside others who are committed to making a positive impact.

Thank you to Splendora ISD for your continued dedication to enriching the lives of students and teachers. We are honored to be a part of it.

Last month, several of our Development Managers and Project Engineers attended the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County May Luncheon featuring a developers panel discussing the current state and future of commercial development in the region.

The conversation covered recent market activity, emerging opportunities, and the realities of moving projects from concept to construction. It was a valuable look at the factors influencing growth across Montgomery County and the Greater Houston region.

We appreciate the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, support our clients, and stay connected to the trends shaping the communities we're helping build.

Every week, our Ignite Summer Interns participate in department-focused Info Sessions designed to give them a deeper understanding of the services and teams that make up Elevation.

Daniela Alldredge recently kicked off the series with a Project Management session, followed by Joel Nalley leading a Survey Info Session. These conversations give interns the opportunity to explore all sides of Elevation. We want them to experience more than just their assigned role. We want them to see the full picture - what we do, how we work, and why it matters.

This weekend was National Recruiter Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize our very own Talent Acquisition Manager, Stormy Garcia.

Before joining Elevation full-time in 2023, Stormy worked with the firm for years as a recruiting partner. She understands our culture because she’s helped shape it. Since joining the team full-time, Stormy has led efforts around our Ignite Intern Program, campus recruiting, and Discovery Day while continuing to play a key role in connecting great people with great opportunities.

Nothing says summer quite like a BBQ, a game of pool, and good conversations.

We kicked off our Ignite summer intern program with a BBQ and time for interns to connect with our team. They also heard from teammates who once started as interns and are now growing their careers at Elevation.

Our team had the opportunity to work alongside Texas A&M University's Zachry Department of Civil Engineering’s Course CVEN 403: Applied Civil Engineering Surveying course — better known as “Survey Camp.”

This two-week Maymester course gives future engineers hands-on experience in land surveying and field operations. Since 2014, Joel Nalley has proudly volunteered as an industry professional for the course, helping guide students through topographic surveying in the field.

The firm also supported the program by providing survey equipment and one of our fleet trucks for students to use throughout the course.

Investing in the next generation of engineers and supporting practical, real-world learning experiences is something we deeply value. Thank you to the students, Dr. Lyle, Dr. Gharaibeh, Doug S. Bramwell, and the faculty involved making it another great year at Survey Camp!

Today was about showing up for a teammate and friend.

Our team wore our Support Diego t-shirts as a reminder that no one fights alone. We also held a friendly in-house design competition featuring multiple creative submissions, with the team selecting Amy Woods' design as the winner.

Most importantly, every shirt purchased directly supported Diego and his family. We're grateful for our team come together, show their support, and remind Diego that Elevation is standing with him every step of the way.

Our Ignite Intern Program kicked off this week as we welcomed 9 interns to the team for the summer!

This is always an exciting time at Elevation as we bring students in from campuses across the region to gain hands-on experience, build connections, and contribute to real projects alongside our teams.

Please join us in welcoming Reed Rifaat to the Elevation team as a Design Engineer in our Woodlands office!

Reed is a Texas A&M University Alumni, a classic rock enthusiast, and a dedicated Aggie football and baseball fan - especially when Texas A&M comes out on top against the Longhorns.

When asked why he chose Elevation, Reed shared that he was impressed by the quality of work produced across the firm and immediately felt the supportive culture surrounding the team.

Reed is most excited to collaborate with a new team and continue developing his design skills as an engineer.
