"Ergonomic" gets used loosely in brochures. We think it deserves a sharper definition.

In a showroom, ergonomic means a padded seat and a cupholder. Out in an Eastern NC field, running a heavy implement across uneven ground for ten or twelve hours, it means something a lot more specific.

It means finishing the shift without a wrecked back. Without wrists that ache the next morning. Without the cumulative wear that adds up over a season and shows up years down the road.

Ergonomic is really an injury-prevention standard. Treat it that way when you shop.

When you're sizing up a tractor, ask the harder questions. How do the seat and suspension handle rough terrain, not a smooth showroom floor? Where are the controls after you've been running the machine for eight hours straight? Can you get in and out fifty times a day without paying for it later?

That's the lens we use when we help folks pick a KIOTI here at Robertson Equipment. Operator fatigue and injury risk on uneven ground are real. The right machine for your land should account for both.
