🔥What an incredible honor to design and create the very first trophy for the Buckeye Local vs. Brooke dual — the start of a brand-new tradition.

Coach Nestor approached me with the idea of creating a trophy that would symbolize “The Bridge” and the competition surrounding it. The Wellsburg Bridge, which connects Brilliant and Wellsburg — some of the respective hometowns of Buckeye Local and Brooke — serves as a powerful representation of this rivalry and the communities it brings together.

Buckeye Local earned the first Bridge Trophy with a 44–34 victory, marking the start of what is sure to become a lasting and celebrated tradition.

I am truly grateful to have played a role in establishing this symbol of pride and competition between two outstanding programs.🤼‍♂️

1914 6 HP hit-and-miss engine — new wrist pin and freshly bushed rod small end. Turned the pin, pressed in the brass bushing, and got everything lined up like it should be. Always satisfying bringing 100+ year old machinery back to proper running shape.
