To our customers, vendors, friends, and family,
Wayne Case of Case Welding and Fabrication will officially retire on Friday, June 6 marking the end of 34 years of service to the Branch County area.
Founded by Case in 1991 as Case Construction off Bidwell Road and eventually relocating to 235 Angola Road in Coldwater. After four expansions, it became known as Case Welding and Fabrication, serving customers with a wide range of welding, fabrication and steel er****on services.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our customers, partners, and the community over the years,” Wayne said. “It’s been an honor to serve this area."
Though Case Welding will wrap up operations in June, the family’s welding legacy will continue at the same location. Michelle Case, Wayne’s daughter and general manager who has worked alongside him for 12 years, will be begin operating Queen Metals within the same building, with the new owners, VIP Trailer Sales.
Case’s contributions to the welding field extend beyond the shop. A certified pipeline welder since 1975 and life member of the American Welding Society, he has also served on the Board of Directors at the Branch Area Careers Center for over 35 years and a past Trustee of the Coldwater Elks Lodge for 8 years.
As Wayne Case begins a well-earned retirement, the Case family thanks the community for decades of support, trust, and partnership.
