Recently completed a job involving the resurfacing of a 15-inch flywheel from a tractor and soldering a leaky radiator from the same tractor. We achieved a high-quality surface finish on the flywheel utilizing our 24.5-inch swing Monarch 18cu lathe.

The 300-part order we just finished was completed in part with the use of a drill jig. Having to drill three different-sized holes and ream one to size required four drill presses to be efficient. Normally, I would only use the Fosdick drill for main drilling operations and use a small benchtop Craftsman for deburring/chamfering, but this job made it necessary to drag in another drill that I had in Building 2 and quickly source another. So, the first picture shows my impromptu gang drill setup, which left a lot to be desired, particularly the inability to run flood coolant. After that job, I realized I needed a proper gang drill that I could run flood coolant on. Enter picture 2: our new, likely 1940s Delta gang drill that I still need to mount another drill head on.
