**UPDATE** Screenshots Attached.
I totally understand the frustration, trust me. I am right there with everyone. I’ve been back-and-forth with Tormach and I will show you the responses. If you need them. I have yet to receive a response from the last message I sent them and that was early October now I’ve been tinkering with the program in the meantime and testing it because I’m not a programmer I hired a programmer to do said programming. He said the programs fine, Tormach says because the programmer is using master cam. Tormach does not run well with programs done in Mastercam, which is shenanigans because their website says otherwise, so I’m not entirely sure what Tormach is getting at but it is frustrating. I ran a test the other night when I did my live video. I did a Hyperlapse video on that because I had it at full speed so I can hurry up and see where the problem was I found the problem. Which I verified with myself because I thought it was the problem in the first place but everyone kept giving me the runaround since.
I have the next few days off. I’m wanting to remove the code that is causing the problem run it on a test piece and I should be good to go, as long as I’m good to go and I like the detail and the finish pass and or passes on the product then I can run these parts and be done with this. I am so over this saber that I just wanted to be done but I’m not willing to send my product overseas, I don’t trust anyone over there in terms of stealing a design using the design in a future run or claiming that they have no idea how they got the product or the files. As much as I appreciate you reaching out and trying to help me with this if you had something in stateside, I would be more apt on doing something on those terms but I’ve already spent $5000 on getting certain parts done so I didn’t have to do them and people to wait Amongst the amount of money that I’ve spent getting everything else done for this run so trust me before I even did anything. I did a lot of research to try to get this done stateside so I don’t have to deal with that on top of it. Tormach was the best choice to do it myself because a lot of manufactures at the time during the Covid thing a lot of the issues was during Covid, that was a lot of the delays now it’s just the stupid program which should’ve been fine and everyone else that I’ve sent the program to that has a tormach said they don’t understand why it’s not running properly.

It’s really the stupidest thing with this program.
It’s currently -7° right now if I wanted to go out into my shop which is not insulated I would totally do that and get this done, as it’s not humanly possible lol I do have to wait until morning at the very least to do my final test. I have to warm up the machine and hope to god my coolant isnt frozen which I’m sure it is. I usually do not work in the shop in the winter here because of this issue.

I even stated in the beginning of everything, I close off any production from November to usually middle of January. But since it’s been unusually warm this year I’ve been able to get away with getting into the shop and not worrying about pesky things such as the cold.

So as you see back in October, when I thought I’d be done with this run, I had to open the ticket up with Tormach and we were going back-and-forth. They stopped responding so I had to take it upon myself go to the Tormach forums in Facebook and get someone to look at my program, they looked at it. They suggested a different program for me to redo a program and I said that’s not feasible. It takes too much time. I ran a few more tests. I just didn’t understand what was going on then I had an epiphany I said it’s gotta be this which was the finish pass. It was having an issue so here we are, I’m removing the finish pass as long as the passes are good I’m good then I should be able to just do what I need to do and get this run done. My intentions were to have this done back in October because we did a test run looked great however the finish past messed up in overrotated. No one can fix that for some reason which I don’t understand because I don’t program g-code.

This also shows proof that I’ve had to anytime I had a setback or an issue with the machine the support tickets. Which correspond with any issue or update that I’ve kept on the page.

I hired someone that codes from upwork, he did the job. The code was fine with the other sabers I had him program. It’s literally just the 4th axis coding that’s causing issue via Tormach. I was literally waiting on tormach. Can’t just call them up and ask since they implemented the new support system. It was quicker when I got the CNC. No one in the area is familiar with tormach machines and did not want to work it.
I asked people that had friends that have worked in manufacturing they didn’t understand the OS. Which imo is bizarre. Figured it’d just g-code should be fine.

I also had put out to teach someone how to operate said machine but they didn’t want to take the time or bother.

So I did reach different avenues. I did ask people. Many people. I had local shops say they could do it and not follow through. I had reached out to a shop in California that could work on the other parts so I can at least get the emitter done. Because no one wants to touch the emitter because the way it’s designed.

So Realistically I have to wait until it’s not -7° and I can have a better answer. Again I mentioned in my live that I need to do a dry run with the code I removed and make sure it’s running properly. If it’s running properly and how it should be, When it isn’t -7 degrees and my coolant is thawed. I can realistically run the parts and finish.

Happy Halloween! Quick update there’s a bug in the code. Testing and working with the programmer and Tormach to figure out why a certain line is causing issue. It looks great tho! If we can remove it we’ll be good super stoked. Here’s an image of what it’s doing. The one on the right is proper the one on the left is the Test. It’s removing minimal material unlike before it was just taking all the material.
