Engineering Associates recently completed a traffic count study at the intersection of 5th Street and Val Vista Street in Sheridan using a Jamar TDC Ultra traffic counting device. The data collection effort captured vehicle volumes and turning movements to support the design of future intersection and signal improvements focused on traffic operations, truck turning movements, pedestrian accessibility, and overall roadway safety.

The project is intended to improve traffic flow and reduce conflict points at one of Sheridan’s key truck route intersections while modernizing pedestrian accommodations and evaluating updated signal operations coordinated with nearby intersections along the corridor.

Eric Holified, from the Sheridan Office took some photos of the installation and completion of the 24” infiltration gallery for the Town of Dayton’s water treatment plant. Construction of the infiltration gallery consisted of construction of a temporary river diversion around the work area with dewatering efforts being made using 4 large pumps, removal of the existing 24” AC pipe, installation of the new 24” HDPE perforated pipe, backfill with select aggregates based off installation location relative to the new 24” HDPE pipe, and removal of the temporary diversion

Eric Holifield, from the Sheridan Office, recently completed a building foundation settlement monitoring survey at the City of Sheridan's Big Goose Water Treatment Plant. Eric set initial observation points nine months ago and did a follow-up survey a week ago to measure any additional settlement found at the building entrance.

Welcome Shiloh Krebes to the Cody Office! Born and raised in Laramie, Wyoming, Shiloh Krebes attended the University of Wyoming, where she met her husband. Twenty-two years ago, they made Cody home, where they are raising their 16-year-old son. Shiloh enjoys spending time outdoors with her family hiking, fishing, and golfing, and in the winter, they spend much of their time traveling and cheering on their son at hockey games.
