The New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) is now open, offering funding opportunities for municipalities, organizations, and community projects across the state.

📅 The 2026 CFA submission deadline is July 31st.

Lamont Engineers has helped communities successfully navigate the CFA process and secure funding for critical infrastructure and community improvement projects. In fact, over the past 15 years, Lamont has helped Cobleskill community secure more than $20 million in grant funding.

Big infrastructure projects may happen behind the scenes — but their impact can shape communities for generations.

The proposed Shokan Wastewater Management Project aims to help protect water quality in the Ashokan Reservoir watershed while supporting long-term community resilience in the Town of Olive.

Project highlights include:
✔ Capacity for 500+ potential hookups
✔ Approximately 70,000+ feet of gravity sewer infrastructure
✔ New wastewater treatment facilities designed to support both Shokan and Boiceville
✔ Protection of local waterways and groundwater resources
✔ Long-term infrastructure investment in the Catskills region

Projects like this help address aging septic challenges, difficult site conditions, flooding concerns, and future environmental protection needs throughout watershed communities.

The Community Wastewater Management Program is administered by the Catskill Watershed Corporation and funded by New York City.
