Hiring Welders (2 positions)
We don't have positions open often - our average welder w/ more than 3 years has been here 15+ years!
*No layoffs in over 40 years!
For Shop:
-Skill Requirements: Flux Core (FCAW), MIG, & Basic Plate Fitting.
-Nice to have: Stick Welding & Sub Arc (SAW)
-Standard work week is 45 hours (off at noon on Friday), but we’ve been working a minimum of 50 hours (M-F 6:30-5) for a few years.
Must pass a welding test: 3/8" thick butt-weld, 2G/3G/4G with E6010 open root & E7018
For Field:
-Skill Requirements: Stick welding, plus some flux core welding.
-Standard work week is 45 hours Monday - Thursday. If not in the field due to weather or scheduling, shop work is provided. Full time hours are always provided. Per Diem for field time.
Must pass a welding test: 5/8" thick butt-weld, 2G/3G/4G with MIG open root & flux core
