Today is not just another day.

For many, Veterans Day is a holiday on the calendar. But for those of us who have worn the uniform — and for the families who stood behind us — this day carries weight.

We remember the early mornings, the long nights, the grit and discipline that shaped us.
We remember the brothers and sisters we stood beside — some who made it home and some who didn’t.
We remember the sacrifices that don’t always show up in headlines:
• Birthdays missed
• Holidays away
• Sleepless nights after we return
• The quiet battles that continue long after service ends

Being a Veteran is not something you “used to be.”
It’s something that lives in you every day.
