Just finished proving out the first operation for these aluminum parts, pretty happy with the process and the end result for op1.

Finishing up programming a job where I had to reverse engineer a casted aluminum part to machine out of billet. Here's the machining simulation for the first and second operations. Had to design a fixture for the second operations as well. Fun little project, waiting on tooling to start making chips.

Roughing away material on some A36 using a 1" diameter indexable endmill. 01" depth of cut, .100" step over with 4702RPM's @ 154IPM. Sitting at around 15% spindle load.
