The Great Lakes Group is seeking a Marine Traffic & Operations Assistant to join our Operations Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily coordination of our tug fleet, ensuring vessels are properly crewed, dispatched on schedule, and operating safely in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures.
In this role, you’ll help manage vessel scheduling, track Great Lakes cargo traffic, maintain operational forecasts and logs, communicate with customers and agents, and support fleet operations, safety initiatives, and special projects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to make sound decisions while managing multiple priorities.
This is a full-time, in-person position working a 12-hour rotating shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
