Here’s a recently finished cue I made for local player Pete Hatten. It has a cocobolo sleeve and points with black and green veneers, birdseye maple forearm cored with purpleheart, rings with black and green veneer, Elforyn joint and butt cap, Spanish bull leather wrap, one maple shaft, and one torrified shaft. Thanks Pete, I hope you enjoy it!

2026 has turned into a big year for Yackley Custom Cues! I was able to do something I’ve been thinking about for almost 20 years now. I submitted a cue to the American Cuemakers Association at the Super Billiards Expo last weekend and was accepted in! I would like to thank Mike Capone, Chris Nitti, David Elliot, Paul Drexler, Mike Stacey, Shelby Williams, Josh Treadway, Woody Woodworth, Jerry Olivier, and most importantly my wife Mercedes. I’m very thankful to have a wife that accepts my obsession with pool cues and everything pool related! This is the cue I submitted to the ACA: Ebony points into a curly maple forearm, ebony sleeve, linen wrap, and Elforyn and copper inlays.
