Some buildings are more than structures; they’re part of a neighborhood's story.

Originally built in 1924, Joseph F. Lamb School (P.S. 206K) in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn is getting a major new addition and The Barrett Company is proud to play a role in helping make it happen.

The $59 million, 60,000-square-foot expansion adds a new five-story wing designed to support the school's students for generations to come.

When your construction site is surrounded by water, the building envelope has a lot to prove.

The $140 million expansion of the Urban Assembly New York Harbor School on Governors Island will transform the campus with:

🏗️ 2 new buildings
📐 32,000 additional square feet
🎓 445 new student seats

A major addition to the historic Joseph F. Lamb School (P.S. 206) in Brooklyn, NY is adding 60,000 square feet of new space to the five-story campus. The project is part of a $59 million expansion and includes a sustainability-focused green roof system.
