Last January, featured Heights Hardware on his social media pages. This is what he wrote:

Fantastic to learn about the family business and to hear about his late Father, Tom who purchased the business in 1979. Definitely one of the best independent Hardware shops in town. When I was a kid I remember when we were heading home for the day, he would announce on the intercom slowly with his broken accent "the captain is leaving the ship, the captain is leaving the ship." Our captain passed away on this date last year 😥 We miss him.

Are you a runner that shops at Heights Hardware or somebody who wants to start running or walking?

Please join the Heights Hardware team for The City of Cleveland Heights 8th annual Happy 10k, 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run. This chip-timed road running event will take you through the best of Cleveland Heights, including the Lee Road and Coventry merchant districts. Flat and fast with plenty of crowd support along the way, this celebration of the Centennial Anniversary of Cleveland Heights supports the Cleveland Heights Youth Scholarship Fund.

This run is open to all ages and abilities, as well as a chip-timed race for the competitive runner. Dress up for your run and you'll automatically be entered into the happiest costume contest around. Happy dogs and strollers welcome too!

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Ornstein, who played Chucky on . He's been shopping here since 2020 and is a really good dude. My wife and I loved SOA and named our new puppy Gemma. We figured it was perfect because Gemma was a real bitch on the show.
