After more than nine years with APG, we proudly celebrate the retirement of Austin Buxton and thank him for his years of leadership, guidance, and dedication to our people and projects.

Since joining APG in 2017, Austin advanced to Senior Project Manager and became known for his steady approach, willingness to share his experience, and commitment to helping others grow. He contributed to projects including the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, St. Joseph’s Hospital South ED & Patient Tower Expansion, and the Discovery & Innovation Center at Moffitt Speros.

Austin’s greatest impact came through his mentorship and the lasting relationships he built with those around him. His consistency, clarity, and commitment to treating others fairly have made a lasting impression across APG.

As he begins retirement, Austin looks forward to traveling, spending time with family, boating, fishing, golfing, and enjoying projects around the house.

We thank Austin for his years of dedication, leadership, and friendship and wish him all the best in this next chapter.

The APG Community Volunteer Program is more than tracking hours—it’s about making a difference in the communities where we live and work. Through the second quarter of 2026, our volunteer program is up 23% over last year. APG team members have contributed 1,898 hours, while our family members have logged 667 hours. Thank you to everyone who has given their time to serve others!

If you haven’t joined the effort yet, track your volunteer hours and submit them to Julie Bennett. You can also submit hours already volunteered in the first half of 2026 if you or your family member was an APG employee at the time. Together, we can continue making a positive impact!

Every report creates an opportunity to improve our procedures, share valuable lessons, and reinforce that safety is everyone's responsibility.
