SUPER Cmoy Altoids tin headphone amplifier. More durable power stage, US only components, and top quality Switchcraft 3.5mm input and output jacks. 90% SMD and less than 2 inches square not including power source. Comes wired for 9V, can be modified for higher voltages. Goes anywhere and fits anywhere. Black PCB.

ALL PCBs are a thick 1.6mm for durability and have traces designed to handle the power. The Super Cmoy has a huge floating ground plane to help prevent hum and poor grounding of audio components. This will be grounded to the chassis of whatever you put it in by the potentiometer and jack bulkhead nuts. Resistors in the power stage are SMD 2512 1W resistors and capacitors are rated 35V or above. Match that to high tolerance capacitors and resistors (5%) and you have a much better amp than the through hole version. Amp chip is a GENUINE Burr Brown OPA2132 for good operation even on a low battery and minimal clipping. Potentiometer is a Bourns Audio Taper 360° single turn unit from their pro audio lineup. Switch has been moved to the board with an LED indicator to prevent accidental battery drain. Many improvements over the original Cmoy bill of materials and through-hole PCB.

All in all, the units are built to be rugged and last for a long time. Satisfaction guaranteed!
