Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Metal Finisher to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various metal finishing processes including grinding, sanding, deburring, polishing, and surface preparation to ensure parts meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the final stages of production, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. This position requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a commitment to excellence in finishing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform finishing operations on metal parts using tools such as grinders, sanders, and polishers
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, weld splatter, and other imperfections
• Ensure finished parts meet precise specifications and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Inspect work visually and with measuring tools to verify conformance
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying any defects or areas needing improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in the finishing department.
• Operate forklifts safely for material handling when necessary.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or finishing role is preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and accurately
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.

Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday (9 am to 5 pm)
Experience:
• metal finishing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hand tools: 1 year (Required)
