✨ Flashback Friday - Our Story✨
Rusty and Cari Mixer are celebrating 25 years TODAY with Mixer Lumber Company. ❤️

Here’s where it all started!! On March 17, 1904, J.L. Tarbox purchased the lumberyard, founding Tarbox Lumber Company, and operated it for 42 years before selling to Russel Yakle and his sons. On May 27, 1946, it was renamed Yakle Lumber Company and continued serving the community for 26 years. On January 1, 1967, Silber and Ruth Mixer purchased the lumberyard, beginning a new chapter — naming it Mixer Lumber & Construction serving the community for 34 years! On May 1, 2001, Rusty and Cari Mixer purchased the lumberyard, which is now know as Mixer Lumber Company, Inc. continuing the family tradition for 25 years.
