Today, we recognize and celebrate Jimmy Thornberry for his vision, leadership, and commitment to the mission of Powell Valley Millwork. His impact is reflected not only in the company we are today, but in the opportunities created for our people and communities nearly four decades.

Thank you, Jimmy, for what you have built and for the foundation you have laid for the future. Congratulations on a well-earned retirement.

While Jimmy is stepping away from his day-to-day responsibilities as CEO, we are pleased that he will remain involved in an advisory role throughout our expansion project. We look forward to continuing to see him around our facilities in the months ahead!

What a great week in Knoxville, TN at the Shed Builder Expo!

We enjoyed catching up with clients, making new connections, and seeing all the innovation happening around the industry.

Even more exciting — we are eager to share one of our newest siding products (3/8” rough sawn with MCA treatment and primed). This material features a rough sawn texture with a shallow groove. It is MCA (Micronized Copper Azole) pressure-treated for superior rot and insect resistance, then kiln-dried after treatment (KDAT) to ensure excellent stability and a lighter weight.
