Employee Spotlight: Leadership & Precision with Chris Reneau! 🌿💼
It’s time for another PTL Fabricators Employee Spotlight! Today, we are proud to feature Chris Reneau, our Executive – Special Projects.
From environmental engineering initiatives to overarching quality management, Chris helps align our resources and guide complex operations from the drafting table all the way to project delivery. Here is an inside look at his role and philosophy:
A Day in the Life: Flexibility and movement define Chris’s day-to-day: "I manage special projects, primarily focused on our Environmental Engineering projects and quality management. I don't have a typical day. I could start my day in an office, then be at a project site the next minute, and end my day in our fabrication plant sharing and discussing ideas for our projects."
Overcoming Project Challenges: Highlighting one of his most rewarding undertakings, Chris points to baghouse installations: "It took a focused alignment of our resources to meet the requirements of our customer. As our organization has many facets, gathering resources, distributing resources, and executing projects can be challenging, but rewarding as well."
The Indispensable Tool: Whether on-site or in the plant, mobility and communication are key: "My laptop. Whether I am in the office or at a job site, having access to the information and resources available through my laptop is critical to our project's success."
Advice for Newcomers: "Learn as much as you can. Identify and utilize any and all resources available to you and your organization. Be curious and ask questions. Finally, value the input of others."
Safety First: "Stop, observe, be aware, and if needed, provide feedback. If you see something, say something!"
Words to His Younger Self: "Learn and don't be afraid to ask questions."

Passions & Giving Back: When off the clock, Chris is driven by a deep passion for helping others succeed: "I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with many non-profit organizations. It is very rewarding to utilize the resources that I have to help other organizations achieve their goals."
Long Weekend Plans: On an open three-day weekend, you’ll find Chris staying active—hitting the gym, stopping by the grocery store, browsing the flea market, and giving his time back to local service organizations.
