The rumors are true… kind of.

Westwood Mall’s hippo isn’t missing. She just picked up a few shifts at our shop.

She said she wanted to:
• Learn CNC machining and saw cutting
• Stay busy outside of mall hours
• Try something new

So far:
• Shows up on time
• Wears proper PPE
• Strong attention to detail
• Doesn’t say much, but is a welcome addition to the team

And for anyone wondering…

No, her coworkers are NOT sitting on her during breaks. We run a professional operation here.

We’ll make sure she’s back in time for her mall shifts.

Last Friday, we hit pause to celebrate our team.

We brought in hot and cold refreshments from Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Jackson and fresh doughnuts from Hinkley Bakery. Great service. Great food. Even better people.

Thank you to our team for the hard work you put in every day. Your focus on quality, on-time delivery, and teamwork drives everything we do.

This acquisition expands our manufacturing capabilities by adding precision grinding to our existing sawing and CNC machining services. For customers, this means tighter tolerances, fewer supplier handoffs, and a more reliable supply chain.

Just as important, this investment reinforces our long-term commitment to manufacturing in Jackson, Michigan. Jackson Grinding Company will continue operating under its established name, with the same experienced team and its Jackson facility.

We wrapped up the year the best way possible — together.

Our employee holiday party gives us a chance to laugh, connect, and celebrate what this team accomplished in 2025. We took time to reflect on the road behind us, get excited about what is ahead, and most importantly, recognize the people who make PSM what it is.

Every day, our employees show up for our customers and for each other. The teamwork, pride, and care behind the work are what drive our success.

These moments matter. They remind us why we do what we do and who we do it with.
