“3pt small bore silhouette” is the Facebook group
Hey! Following up on the Facebook post from a month ago. A few of us have started Thursday night shoots to work out any kinks that may have come up. I think we’ve gotten most of them worked out, and are ready to start opening up to more shooters.
THERE WILL BE NO SHOOT THIS THURSDAY JULY 4th.
Shoots are Thursdays beginning at 6:30pm
Target set up is 6-6:30. $5 target fee/night
Please make sure you are a current member of 3pt sportsman club $10 available at Newmans.
Probably a good idea to have your card with you
Please try to enter by 7:00 pm at latest and we will do our best to accommodate you.
This is for fun. This is not competitive, only person to beat is yourself. (Cheat or lie if you want lol) That being said, we loosely follow the NRA official rules. Distances are followed, range rules are followed, and this is shot freehand. Rules state 8.5lb rifle limit. Bring what you want for a .22lr open sights or scoped. Also, practice is for home, come ready to shoot, no sighters.
If you don’t have a .22 and want to participate, let us know. Someone will let you use one.

I try to get everyone at least 40 shots/2 rounds per night. That really depends on turn out. If it gets to a point where I can’t get 2 rounds per shooter, the idea has been kicked around to move to Sunday mornings, and sign up 10-? to have more of a 3-d archery format and time.
If there’s anyone you see that needs invited, please do so. The more the merrier. Again, this is for fun, safety being number 1, having a good time is the number 2 rule.
