We’re proud to share that our company has a new name:
Grizzly Contracting & Supply Co.
This name represents not only our journey but also our future—a future rooted in strength, safety, and resilience.
When I founded this company in 2022, it was out of necessity after being laid off from my previous job. What began as a way to support my family has grown into something far greater—a passion and belief that quality needs to come first.
Living and working in Joplin, Missouri—at the heart of Tornado Alley—I see a real need for change in how homes are built. Too often, homes in this area are constructed as cheaply as possible, leaving homeowners with the burden of adding tornado shelters to feel safe or investing in expensive solar panels to hopefully gain more efficiency in their homes. I believe it shouldn’t be up to the homeowner to fix what could have been done right from the start. Builders have a responsibility to create homes that are strong, efficient, and built to withstand the environment we live in. This passion for quality is the driving force behind everything we do at Grizzly.
For us, quality comes first in every project we take on. It’s about more than just adding nice finishes to a home—it’s about using better building materials to create stronger, safer, and longer-lasting structures from the ground up.
As part of this evolution, we’re thrilled to see the “supply” side of our business grow. This is our effort to make building the right way easier and more accessible for everyone. Right now, we’re focused on ordering high-quality materials for our customers, but we’re looking ahead to an even bigger vision. Once the renovation of our new office space is complete, we plan to stock and inventory select materials on-site, making it easier for builders and homeowners to access the best materials for their projects. Helping others build stronger, safer, and more efficient structures is one of the most rewarding aspects of what we do, and we’re excited to empower others to build smarter.
