RECONCRAFT designs and manufactures aluminum vessels for government and military clients. We are looking for a Press Brake and Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to operate our brand new 12’ / 250T Accurpress CNC brake, with secondary duties operating other cutting and forming equipment.

You must know how to read blueprints to determine the measurements of each product and operate a CNC press brake and other equipment to cut and bend the materials into the shape according to specifications. Once the pieces are done, you will check to make sure they are the correct size and shape using engineering drawings or other tools. You should have previous experience with press machine operation, preferably with aluminum. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, the ability to function as a member of a team, and a keen eye for detail and quality. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience working with CNC equipment in the manufacturing industry.

Press Brake Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Read blueprints from designers and engineers
• Program your machine to fit the design
• Measure the final product to ensure uniformity
• Restock materials
• Perform routine maintenance on the machine
• Identify problems with parts and work with engineering staff to remedy those issues

Press Brake Operator Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Degree or certificate from a vocational school (preferred)
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience working with industrial machines
• Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
• All new hires are subject to pre-employment drug screenings, background checks, and E-Verify, according to federal law

OFFICE MANAGER

RECONCRAFT is the leading manufacturer of purpose-built workboats for military, government, and other professional organizations. This position performs all aspects of general office administration with an emphasis on employee onboarding, payroll and taxes, supporting bookkeeping and accounting duties including collecting and transmitting receipts and other documentation to our remote bookkeeping and accounting staff, performing federal, state, and local reporting, coordinating travel, and various other administrative duties as assigned. The position requires a self-starter who is detail orientated, organized, professional, and able to multitask.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Primary administrative liaison to coordinate bookkeeping/accounting, legal, and human resources issues with those respective points of contact at our parent company in Virginia.
- Prepare and maintain monthly WIP (work-in-progress), including inventory, for submission to accounting staff.
- Procurement duties to include ordering, receiving, and inventory reconciliation.
- Audit and verification of expense reports prior to submission to accounting.
- Payroll processing to include tax reporting.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping systems, making use of current computer technology, including proper backup and files for financial and other audits.
- Maintain confidentiality with financial, personnel, and other sensitive company information.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Perform general office/clerical support functions and special projects as assigned including coordinating travel, meetings, and other events.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Associate’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Highly organized with strict attention to detail.
- Familiar with payroll processing, bookkeeping fundamentals, required state and federal filings, etc.
- Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 25lbs or less.
- Ability to work overtime, when required, to meet deadlines or other deliverables.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Substantial workload handling multiple priorities and time frames.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
