DJJ teammates joined Nucor teams from across the enterprise at the home dedication for JT Doody, the veteran Nucor sponsored in 2023. Together, Nucor raised $225,000 to help fund JT's specially adapted home, built in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation.

The home includes ceiling track lift systems, a backup generator to support JT's medical equipment, and no-step access throughout, all designed to help JT and his family live more comfortably and independently.

Thank you, JT, for your service, and thank you to everyone who continues to support our veterans and their families.

This is what investing in talent looks like. ⬇️

DJJ was proud to host Nucor's Commercial Intern Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio, welcoming more than 70 interns from across the enterprise. Interns heard from leaders across the company, competed in a mock sales competition, toured a scrap metal recycling yard and built lasting connections throughout the week.

This summit showcased the drive, curiosity, and strength of these interns. Investing in the next generation of talent is core to who we are at Nucor.

One of our reoccurring volunteer events is with the Freestore Foodbank.

The Freestore Foodbank's mission is to improve lives by eliminating hunger in partnership with the community, and their vision is to create a hunger-free, healthy, and thriving community. Volunteering is just one small step we can do to support their cause.
