Pair Gain Communications Inc. is looking to fill a Shipping and Receiving Clerk position immediately. This position is responsible for filling orders and receiving orders, load and unload delivery vehicles, oversee delivery runs.
A successful candidate:
Candidate will need to be hard working, reliable and on time for work with the ability to problem solve and ensure excellent customer service.
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials.
- Picking and filling orders from stock.
- Prepare and review orders for accuracy and completeness
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse
- Ability to use parts department computer system, calculator
- Count, weigh, or measure items in incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bill of lading, invoices, orders and other records
- Operate forklift, or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage, work area and transport received goods throughout facility as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent or at least 1-year related experience;
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record;
- Undergo a background screen
- Ability to analyze and solve problems;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- ·Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Amazon Seller software. Knowledge of Ipad.
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Ability to work effectively on a team.
- Ability to bend, stoop, walk, sit, stand, lift and carry for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
