Come out and support.

Every day this week, we’d like to give a shout out to one of the companies that come together to be our Kimberly’s Clay Crush for Cancer Event Sponsor. We are truly so grateful for all of their continued support of Envelopes for Hope! Help us support each of them by sending your business their way!

Today we would like to thank Timber Ridge Outfitters! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 💕

If you’ve ever walked past the old Chireno Cafe downtown, you’ve walked past family.

When the cafe was built, the folks putting it together gathered old hand-made brick from around town — brick fired right here at the Chireno kiln. Some of it came from the front walk of the old Frank Moore home place. Frank Moore ran a store here in Chireno back in the early 1900s, and he was our grandfather. His son, Everette Wilson “Bud” Moore, is who this store is named after.

The house itself once sat right behind where the community center stands today. The first photo shows it in the background on a snowy day, with Harry Hawk’s blacksmith shop out front. The second is the cafe as it looked in 1994, its face built out of Chireno brick.

Here’s the part that still gets us: Kevin, our manager here at Bud’s, owns that very house today and lives in it — fully restored. Four generations later, the Moore home place is still standing and still tied to this store.

Same dirt, same brick, same town. We’re proud to still be part of it.

🧽 EVERY JOB ENDS WITH A CLEANUP — WE’VE GOT THAT COVERED TOO 🧽

Grease, oil, paint, or whatever you just got into. The rag aisle at Bud’s is stocked with the good stuff:

🔵 Toolbox Professional Blue Shop Towels — works like cloth, extra thick, absorbs oil and grease and stays strong when it’s wet. Made in the USA.
• Single roll, 55 towels — $3.99
• 200-count box — $21.99

🐊 Crocodile Cloth — oversized pre-moistened cleaning cloths, 3x bigger than a standard wipe. Cuts grease off your hands without water. Made in the USA.
• Original, 100 cloths — $24.99
• Power Scrub, 80 cloths — $24.49

👕 Box of Rags — 8 lbs. of 100% recycled white cotton T-shirt rags. More durable than paper, washable, and cheaper than you’d think. Perfect for paint spills, staining, varnishing and general cleanup — $25.99

Keep a roll in the truck, a box in the shop and a pack of Crocodile Cloth in the toolbox. You’ll use every one of them.

🟡 GOT A MESS THAT WON’T COME OFF? WE’VE GOT GOOF OFF. 🟡

Dried latex paint, adhesive, glue, asphalt and tar — the stuff soap and water just laughs at. Off cuts it loose, and we’ve got the whole lineup on the shelf at Bud’s.

What’s in stock:
🔸 Pro Strength Remover, 6 oz. — $4.99
🔸 Pro Strength Remover, 12 oz. aerosol — $8.69
🔸 Pro Strength Remover, 16 oz. — $8.99
🔸 Pro Strength Remover, 1 gallon — $25.99
🔸 Graffiti Remover, 16 oz. spray — $14.99
🔸 Marks, Messes & Stains Remover, 22 oz. trigger spray — $9.99

Paint on the tailgate. Sticker glue on a new window. Tar on the truck after the county sprayed the road. Sharpie somebody’s kid found. It’ll take it off.

⚠️ Heads up — the Pro Strength is strong stuff. Read the label, use it outside or with the doors open, and keep it away from any flame. It’s extremely flammable.

Come grab a can. 🤠

You know the kind of cracks that show up after a week of pulling wire, hauling hay, running a chainsaw or working out in the weather. That’s exactly what ’Keeffe’s is built for — and we just set a full display right up front at Bud’s.

What we’ve got:
🟢 Working Hands Cream — 3.4 oz. jar, $10.99 | 3 oz. tube, $9.99
🔵 Healthy Feet Cream — 3 oz. tube, $9.99
🟠 Lip Repair Balm — unscented or cooling, $4.99
🟢 Working Hands Hand & Body Lotion — 12 oz. squeeze bottle

Concentrated, unscented, non-greasy, and it actually works. Put it on before bed and see for yourself. And it’s cheap insurance compared to a split thumb that won’t heal all winter.

Grab a tube at the counter next time you’re in. Your hands will thank you. 💪

Discover one of Nacogdoches’ newest murals! 🎨

Entrada de Ramón por El Camino Real de los Tejas depicts the Spanish expedition entering East Texas in 1716, honoring an important chapter in our city’s rich history.

As you drive into Downtown Nacogdoches from the east along El Camino Real (Main Street), keep an eye out for this stunning mural on the side of Papi’s Restaurant & Cantina. It’s the perfect stop to admire local art and connect with the story of Texas’ oldest town.
