We’re working on another coating project in the shop today, making sure flow paths, lip geometry, and bead stability are exactly where they need to be.

When the die is right, the coating is right.

⚙️ Blown film looking uneven? Sometimes the cause is hiding deep inside the die.

This customer had major thickness variation — and here’s what we found:

👉 Their shim was warped from poor torque sequencing
👉 That warp created a gap
👉 Resin seeped in, hardened, and pushed the core crooked
👉 One side got tight, the other side opened up
👉 Film uniformity went out the window

Torque sequencing matters. Think “tighten like lug nuts” — alternating pattern, even pressure.

Precision starts long before the line starts running.
