As many in our community have heard, Domtar has made the difficult decision to close its pulp and chip mill in Childersburg, AL.

This is a tough moment for a lot of hardworking people and families in the area, and our thoughts are with everyone impacted.

We are very saddened by this, and we would like all to know that we are actively hiring across multiple roles and are even exploring a second, hybrid shift to create additional opportunities.

Our newest addition — a second Amada press brake — does exactly that.

By expanding capacity, we’re reducing a key production bottleneck, improving workflow across fabrication, and increasing overall throughput.

Today is Fiber Laser Friday! We are installing a new 8kW Amada fiber laser that will be a major addition to our capabilities.

This investment is all about efficiency, precision, and throughput. With faster cutting speeds, improved accuracy, and expanded material capabilities, this new laser will help us reduce lead times, increase production capacity, and continue delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.
