It was a pleasure to work with RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture on the Elizabeth Morse Genius Children’s Garden at Garfield Park Conservatory. The project includes a new family restroom designed to blend accessibility, sustainability, and thoughtful design into its natural surroundings.
The accessible facility includes an adult-sized changing table, organic-inspired finishes, and exterior drinking and bottle-filling stations. A recessed donor wall featuring custom lettering, integral lighting, and cast donor names on IPE wood honors those who made the Children’s Garden possible.

The result is a functional, welcoming space that makes sustainability part of the visitor experience.
