✨💜 To conclude our 2025 Annual Convention recap, we had some amazing final moments in the Windy City!
☕️ The Professionals Chapter Leadership Brunch brought to us by Becthel was a successful event. This was a time to honor our NSBE Professionals chapters’ leadership across the nation.
🔥 The Golden Torch Awards stepped it all the way up with host Terrence J, (former host of BET’s 106 & Park), and performance by Leon Thomas, (former Nickelodeon star and Grammy Award winning artist/songwriter). The incoming National Executive Board and National Professional Executive Board were sworn into their positions by the National Parliamentarian. Amongst the incoming National PEB, Region VI leaders were elected — Yaw Dapaa, Region VI Chair-Elect, Lamara Glass, Secretary Elect, and Alishia Ballard, Publicist Elect.

💜💫 Some highlights from Day 3 of the 2025 Annual Convention include…
🎙️The Region VI Professionals Townhall where we invited members of the region to address recaps, updates, and chapter awards. The Region VI PEB introduced themselves, the Region VI Chair gave updates on past events and engagement within the region, the Region VI Chair-Elect shared his vision for the incoming year, and the National PEB Chair-Elect Candidates delivered their campaign speeches.
🍾 We attended the Edward E. Barnette Jr. Scholarship Gala that took place at Soldier Field. The money raised from the event will go toward scholarships. It was a fun time!
