Having Some fun with double blown diffusers we developed.
These are universal , they fit any flat splitter, the principle is that they reduce the pressure under the splitter creating more downforce.
But this design is significantly more effective than normal splitter diffusers since the extra element allows a higher rake while still maintaining flow attachment.
The strakes are needed to deal with the turbulence of the wheels. We are actually selling these.
I ran these through CFD tests, the tests show that they reduced the Coefficient of lift by 0.021 which may not look like a lot but it equates to 105 N of downforce increase at 200kmph.

Nissan Z33 aerodynamic simulation
Simulations account for rotating wheels and moving ground, unlike stationary wind tunnels which yield less than ideal data.
Velocity contour displayed over the car's geometry shows how the due to the no-slip condition velocity at the surface follows the velocity of the object moving.
as you move out towards the edges of the wheels and at the road surface the velocity is high, the same value as the velocity of the air entering while the car's body has zero velocity relative to the air, and the wheels' centers too have the same velocity as the car's body since the have less linear velocity.
