To celebrate Manufacturing Day throughout October, we are excited to feature our dedicated manufacturing employees from across our business and learn more about how impactful their careers in the industry are.
Meet CGC Wheatland’s Allen Victorious, Board/Mill Manager with eight years of experience with CGC across a variety of locations and teams. One of Allen’s priorities in his role is communication and engagement with team members. His day starts by checking in with his department about how the previous shift went, followed by collaboration with members of the board plant team to create the day’s plan and support in problem-solving any obstacles from the previous shift.
This collaboration is key in Allen’s role, as a typical day involves meeting with other department leaders and members of the corporate engineering and programming teams. “Being part of Wheatland’s startup, seeing its impact on the local community, and watching the plant grow from a pile of dirt into a functioning facility that has begun serving the market has been incredibly rewarding,” he says.
