Please join us in congratulating Jeri Lyn Curlee on her promotion to HR Specialist at our Chicago Heights location! 🎉

Jeri Lyn joined Sugar Steel in 2019 as a Payroll Specialist and was promoted to Payroll Supervisor in 2022. Throughout her time with the company, she has built strong relationships across the organization while supporting both payroll and accounting functions.

In her new role, Jeri Lyn is excited to become more involved in employee relations and continue helping foster the culture that makes Sugar Steel a great place to work. She looks forward to supporting employees, creating engaging experiences, and helping team members better understand the many benefits and opportunities available to them.

Outside of work, she enjoys creating art, spending time with family, and caring for her rescue dog, Cece, and rescue cat, Zilla. A proud Great Aunt to five, she values the family-oriented culture at Sugar Steel and appreciates the opportunity to support both her work family and her family at home.

Katie brings 12 years of finance and accounting experience, with a background spanning the travel, healthcare, and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. Known for using data to drive business decisions while building strong relationships across teams, she is excited to join The Infra Group and contribute to its continued growth and success.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Katie spent several years living in New Mexico and Colorado before returning home. While she's happy to be back, she still misses the mountains.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Mark, and their three-year-old daughter, Rea. Whether it's hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, or spending time by the ocean, she's happiest when she's outside enjoying nature with her family.

Katie is looking forward to helping the finance team scale to support The Infra Group's growth, learning more about the steel industry, and building relationships across the organization.

As we wrap up the first half of 2026, we're taking a moment to reflect on the incredible impact our teams have made beyond the workplace. 💙

As part of Reliance's Volunteer Month last month, employees across the Infra Group partnered with Ronald McDonald Houses to assemble refresh kits, hygiene kits, snack kits, activity kits, backpack care kits, and other essential donations for families staying at Ronald McDonald House locations across the country. 📦❤️

Every volunteer, every donation, and every kit packed reflected our shared commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. 🤝

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and helped make our 2026 RMH Pack Days a success. We're proud of what we accomplished together and look forward to continuing this tradition of giving back for years to come.

These are BY FAR… the COOLEST parts we’ve ever run on our Voortman Steel Machinery V807! Seriously — you might want to sit down for this one. 💯

At first glance, it almost doesn’t feel like structural steel at all — it looks more like jewelry. Intricate, detailed, and precision-crafted down to every cut. What you’re looking at are precision-cut steel wide fl**ge beams produced on our V807…
but here’s the twist:👉 These are for a private residence in the Mid-West!

Custom architectural steel at this level isn’t something you see every day. The intricate patterning, the scale, vision, and the ex*****on really show what’s possible when advanced processing meets creative design.

At Sugar Steel, projects like this are what we love most — pushing the limits of our equipment and delivering something truly unique. Huge credit to our team for bringing this to life!
