The devastation from this wind storm has been heartbreaking. Seeing the damage across our neighborhoods has been hard for all of us. This storm touched every corner of our community, including our own team and families.

We are your neighbors first. If you need support, a listening ear, or help figuring out next steps, we are here. Our community has always shown up for one another, and we will continue to do that now.

Please stay safe and know you are not alone.

UPDATE: We will be closing at noon today. There is dangerous debris flying around and our customers's and employees' safety is our top priority. We hope to be open at 7 am tomorrow.

With today's dangerous winds, our phone lines and internet service have been spotty. Please remain patient with us as we work through!
If we make a decision to close before our normal time of 5pm, we will update this post

Reminder: if you see downed power lines, please do not try to fix fences/remove trees without contacting Black Hills!

Last week, we received a phone call that our friends at Friday Food Bags could use our assistance transporting food from Albertson's to their warehouse. Without hesitation, we accepted the call to action and helped move pallets!

When our community calls, we are proud to be able to show up for them. If anyone is looking for an opportunity to make a difference, consider volunteering to help Friday Food Bags. Tuesday evenings at 5pm at their warehouse (2003 S. Greeley Hwy) they fill 1,000+ bags for students in our community who may be facing food insecurity. Kelly from our Kitchen and Bath Department has been volunteering and had this to say:
"Friday Food Bags has been an incredible way to make a difference without a huge time commitment every week. I love that I can show up and feel welcomed by everyone there! I am a huge advocate for helping out whenever possible and this opportunity has made a difference in my life along with the students who receive these bags"

Special thank you to one of our fearless leaders, Butch, for taking time after hours to help out!
