It takes a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes to put these cars on track weekend after weekend, and it’s been great watching the competition and the series continue to grow.

Onboard at Barber Motorsports Park!

Ride along for a qualifying lap from last weekend’s SCCA Hoosier Super Tour at Barber in the all-new Capaldi Racing Ford Fiesta B-Spec.

First weekend on track for the new build, and we were immediately getting after it.

Plenty more speed to find as we continue developing the Fiesta!

A little late on the update from Barber… We got home and went straight back to work getting ready for the Mustang Cup USA finale at Road Atlanta, but we definitely couldn’t skip sharing how the first race weekend went for our new Capaldi Racing Ford Fiesta B-Spec!

Saturday morning qualifying was literally the first time this car had ever been on track. With zero testing beforehand, we qualified P10, just 2 seconds off pole. Not a bad way to start!

Race 1 started off strong, but on lap 3 we had a clutch failure that left us with only 3rd gear. Somehow we kept it going for the rest of the race and brought it home P11.

Saturday night meant getting to work. A new clutch went in, and we were determined to see what the Fiesta could really do on Sunday.

Sunday morning qualifying was a big step forward — P4 and less than a second off pole!

In Race 2, the Fiesta ran competitively inside the top 4 and showed that we’ve got something to work with. After a late full-course caution, some unfortunate contact dropped us back, but we still brought it home P5.

For the first weekend out with a completely new car with its first-ever laps happening in qualifying, we really couldn’t ask for much more. The car showed a ton of potential, we learned a lot, and we’ve already got a good idea of where we can make it better.

As always, we had a great time racing with everyone at the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour. Great competition, great people, and exactly why we enjoy coming out and running with this group.

Not a bad debut for the little Fiesta.

Can’t wait for the next one!

We’re at Barber Motorsports Park this weekend for the SCCA Super Tour, and we’re excited to finally get our new Ford Fiesta B-Spec out there and racing!

Another Dark Horse R is officially on track!

Our newly finished Ford Mustang Dark Horse R is out Jay Andrew this weekend, testing the waters and seeing where else we can put these awesome cars to work.

The Dark Horse R is an incredible platform, and we’re excited to explore opportunities beyond its traditional race programs. More track time, more competition, and more places to race these cars is always a good thing.

We’ll be learning, gathering data, and seeing how the Dark Horse R stacks up in a different environment.
