Did a 3 hole oil change
2 new tires
New shift linkage… thanks to Ni***es! (Kirk Omalley)
New 14” apes with controls and grips.
I went with Metzeler tires. I don’t like them at all. I had a front end shimmy after all the work was done. Took it to Harley.
New front end bushings
New rear shocks
Rebalance front tire. (7 grams off)
Rode it for 300 miles. Still not perfect. Especially on deceleration. So I took it back to the shop.
Brand new Dunlop on the front. Jumped on. Rode like butter. So nice. Headed home… bamb. All rear lighting goes black. It’s 6:40 and Harley shop goes home at 7. It’s Saturday and they will be closed until til Tuesday if I don’t get there. I called and they said BRING IT. They took it right to the back and worked on it for 1/2 hour. I was hoping it was just a fuse. New rear LED light harness! Got so lucky I didn’t loose the back lights while I was ripping up 36!
