Established in 1928 and formerly known as McCallum Inspection, the company was establish
ed to provide timber inspection for the local community including utility poles for the Virginia Electric and Power Company (VEPCO). The successes, experience and expertise gained in the early years led to a natural expansion into well drilling in the 1950’s and subsurface exploration, laboratory testing of soil, asphalt and concrete as well as construction inspection in 1965. We now have over 40 employees including registered professional engineers, geologists, environmental scientists and engineering and laboratory technicians certified in various disciplines. McCallum Testing Laboratories is honored to maintain decades-long relationships with dozens of clients locally and nationwide.
