Today marks the 1st day of the rest of my life. After 20 years, I am retired from being a US Navy Diver. I could not have gotten through it without the unseen and unnoticed (at the time) help from God, but he was there helping guide me and saving me from some things that make me able to say. "I shouldn't be here today,"
The amazing support from my wife and my family has made the last 20 years of service easier by knowing that things at home were always taken care of.
Thank you, ,mom, for not just the last 20 years but 40 years of my life. Being there to support me and help me through some of the most challenging parts of my career and life as my voice of reason and endless reliable support.
20 years of Navy service will be forever a major part of my life, but it is now in the past, and I'm excited for what the Lord has planned for me next!
