Air & Hydraulic Equipment, Inc. – 2025 Shareholders Meeting

On August 22, 2025, Air & Hydraulic Equipment, Inc. hosted its annual Shareholders Meeting at the Chattanooga Zoo. It was a day to reflect on our company’s proud history, celebrate recent successes, recognize outstanding employees, and look ahead to the future.

Our Story:

Air & Hydraulic Equipment, Inc. was founded in 1971 when James P. Halstead and James A. Campbell purchased the Tennessee distribution rights for C.A. Norgren, Inc. From those early days in Chattanooga, AHE grew steadily with expansions into Nashville, Knoxville, Bristol, Cookeville, and Memphis. In 1992, the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) was established, creating a lasting culture of employee ownership.

In 2024, AHE expanded again with the creation of AHE Automation, a division dedicated to designing and building custom equipment and automation solutions — a reflection of our continued commitment to growth and innovation.

We also remember and honor the passing of our former president, Richard “Dick” LaFollette, whose leadership helped shape this company for decades. Today, Gary Moore serves as our current president, continuing to guide AHE with strength, vision, and dedication to our employee-owners.

Highlights of the Day

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. and included:
Review of previous meeting minutes
Presentation of the company’s annual financials
Discussion of the board member voting process
Employee recognition and performance awards
Voting for the 2025 Board of Directors

While votes were tallied, recognition awards were presented. The meeting concluded with the announcement of the 2025 Board of Directors, followed by a company-provided lunch. Employees and their families then had the opportunity to enjoy the Chattanooga Zoo together.
