Busy job shop in Charlton just purchased a brand new DMG MORI NHX-5000. We are looking to hire an experienced CNC horizontal milling programming/set-up machinist. You would provide your expertise to our diverse customer base utilizing the latest version of Mastercam to program our new horizontal mill and our other modern vertical CNC machining centers with the latest technology. You would also be responsible to set-up these machines.

Programming and set-up experience is a must. Familiarity with various materials, especially stainless steel and high temp alloys, is extremely beneficial. You need to know G-code, feeds, speeds, surface finishes, and cutting tool applications. Our next team member must have his/her own tools, be neat and organized, and be able to work independently and efficiently from print to first piece. English speaking is a must. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be necessary at times.

Experience with Fanuc controls, JobBOSS Shop Software, and multi-axis machining are all a plus. Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm with over time potential. Great benefits. Competitive compensation based on experience and skill set.
