SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc. held our annual company retreat in Greensboro this past Friday.

We began the day with a moment of silence in remembrance of 9/11. Stephen Robinson, PE, also shared that SKA made a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of all those lost on that day: https://lnkd.in/dTu_HEYs

The morning was filled with educational sessions, team building, and opportunities to learn from one another. After lunch, we shifted gears and had some fun together as a team.

It was a great day centered around this year’s theme, Reaching Higher: for each other, for our clients, and for what’s next.

SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc congratulates Nicole Krasowski, AIA for her successful involvement and completion of 2026 Designing Forward program. In partnership with AIA North Carolina, a group of 24 leaders from across the state were selected to explore how architectural practice is evolving and how to design stronger firms for the future of the state and industry. The group dedicated over 24 hours of virtual sessions and in-person workshops that incorporated extraordinary speakers from across the country as well as a variety of activities, discussions, and peer mentoring that allowed the group to reflect on and consider how firms can actively:
- Future-Proof their Practices
- Design for Organizational Growth & Resilience
- Attract, Retain & Develop Top Talent
