Since joining AEC in 2004 as an Outside Sales Account Manager, Darin has paired his engineering background with a boots-on-the-ground, consultative approach. Taking the helm as President in 2018, he has guided our organization through evolving industry landscapes while preserving the client-first principles that have defined AEC since 1960.
For Darin, driving facility velocity starts with stepping directly onto the plant floor to understand operational constraints firsthand. Whether collaborating with engineers, walking lines with plant managers, or reviewing long-term ROI with corporate executives, Darin focuses on engineering transparent, scalable strategies rather than pushing quick equipment sales. As Darin puts it:
"The main value is just doing the right thing. We always make sure we act as an extension of our client and do what’s right for them."
