🔩 From Oklahoma to the oil fields—Cosen delivers.
We recently completed a test cut for a customer out of Oklahoma with a very unique application: removing an unneeded section from a casting made of AMS 4640 / C63000 Nickel Aluminum Bronze wrought alloy. Once trimmed, the unneeded piece is reforged into future castings, while the remaining part moves on to produce transmission components destined for the oil & gas industry.
Not your everyday cut—but exactly the kind of challenge we welcome.
The material will ultimately be cut using a specially fabricated jig, made by the customer, to support it during the process. For this test, the piece was positioned to demonstrate exactly how it would need to be aligned on the saw—helping the customer visualize how their custom jig should be set up and designed. Once that positioning was confirmed, the test material was then repositioned and cut from a different angle, showcasing our ability to deliver a smooth, quick, and easy cut.
After a successful day in the shop, the test material is now packed up and ready to ship back to Oklahoma.
No matter the material. No matter the shape. No matter the testing needed. Cosen is committed to finding the right cutting solution for your production needs.
