The 2022 annual release of LTPP InfoPave was recently completed, which included a major enhancement to the website with the addition of an Analysis Ready Materials Dataset (ARMAD). This unique dataset is the product of an extensive data wrangling process that will assist researchers and practitioners with conducting their materials-related data analyses.

Already widely recognized as the world’s premier source of data and information on pavement performance, LTPP InfoPave now offers improved data accessibility with the debut of this first analysis-ready dataset. Similar analysis-ready datasets related to performance, traffic, and climate are also planned for future releases.

The license has been awarded at the inauguration ceremony of Lahore Technopolis organized on December 23, 2021. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

One of the most critical assets to ensure safety and uniformity of traffic is the uniform application of pavement markings to delineate the roadway path and specific traffic lanes. Pavement markings communicate continuous information to road users related to roadway alignment, vehicle positioning, and other important driving-related tasks.

TranSystems teamed up with iENGINEERING in a joint effort to create a comprehensive pavement marking inventory for Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT). iENGINEERING delivered low-cost mobile data collection, automated AI-powered asset extraction, and enhanced web-based data visualization through Transconomy to fulfill the project deliverables.

Smartphone camera technology has advanced significantly making it possible to capture high-resolution roadway images for Transportation Asset Management. Transconomy explored this opportunity and converted this idea into a reality. Adding to the Transconomy product line, Transconomy Collector is a mobile app that allows you to collect geo-tagged roadway images with your preferred capture frequency while you drive.
