Hurricane season historically Ramps up Mid-August to Mid-September.

A couple of things to look at around your mobile home so you are prepared.

●What do your anchors and straps look like?
Are they very rusty?
Have any rusted thru?
Are your bolts still tight in the anchor heads?

●Check out the trees around your home.
Are there any broken but still attached limbs?
Are any limbs large and hanging over or very close to your home?
Are there any trees that are leaning heavily that may fall if the wind is rough and the ground is saturated?

●Make sure your doors and windows are secure and well sealed.
Screws can become rusty and/ or loose.
The seals can become crusted and brittle over time. (This is also a big energy drag for your home)

Last but not least, making sure you have hurricane supplies so you dont have to go last minute for batteries, flashlights, water etc is a huge thing. It is a lot easier to buy a couple of things at a time verses all at once. Check out the list below.

We know this can be a scary time if we have a storm. Being prepared ahead of time will help keep it managed.
