He first joined the warehouse team while still in high school and continued contributing part-time as he pursued his college degree. Since then, he has taken on new opportunities, transitioning into marketing, advancing through multiple roles, and recently being promoted to Marketing & E-Commerce Analytics Specialist.

Grant has become a valuable resource for data, analytics, and insights that help guide decision-making across the business. His work supports our efforts to improve our customers’ experience and drive growth.

Waytek’s summer picnic turned out a little different than planned this year, but thanks to some quick thinking and a lot of helping hands, the celebration went on!

Just 10 minutes before the picnic was set to begin, the wind picked up and lightning was in the forecast. In true Waytek fashion, more than 30 employees dropped what they were doing and helped move the event into the warehouse in record time, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

As the weather improved, guests were able to move between the warehouse, food trucks, and bounce house, making the most of the afternoon. The Chanhassen Fire Department and Police Department also joined the fun, bringing squad cars and a fire truck for kids to explore. We were proud to host and feed our local first responders, who were gracious enough to spend time with our families and help make the day even more memorable.

From great food and family fun to incredible teamwork and community spirit, the day was a reminder of what makes Waytek special. Thank you to everyone who jumped in to help, and to all the employees, families, volunteers, supplier partners, and first responders who made this year's picnic a success.
