15 years ago today I met a significant life goal. The passing of my PE exam meant I had met all the minimum qualifications to become a Professional Engineer. One of the keys in my education and study was including a "higher power" in this process. In the means I used to study and increase my intellect I chose to include personal prayer, scripture study and pondering of essential life questions. I felt this has allowed me to align my pathway with one that has allowed for success despite the constant change of the winds that swirl around me.

I am grateful for these types of opportunities to chart a course and seek to accomplish righteous desires within my heart. In reflection I can say I have been provided with strength, knowledge and abilities way beyond my own abilities.

What better way to celebrate a day of love, as well as Arizona's birthday then to spend a couple hours with the amazing folks at Feed My Starving Children in Mesa, Arizona. All of us at Engineered with Layton are grateful for what we have; the freedoms that we have, the great land that we live in, the people we love, and who love us, the clients and other professionals that we work with and ALL that we are blessed with.
